Striving to be Fresno County’s best, most complete source for community health data.
Health is determined to a large extent by locally available social and economic opportunities. The resources and support Fresno County residents are able to access in their homes, neighborhoods, and communities impacts outcomes everything from chronic disease rates and the quality of health care received to treat them, to the nature of our social interactions and relationships.
While each of us is ultimately responsible for our health and wellness, our goal as a community must be the creation of social and physical environments that promote good health for all. All Fresno County residents deserve an equal opportunity to make the choices that lead to good health for themselves and their children. The first step is knowing where we stand, and this data helps.
